  1. Administer radiation therapy to cancer patients in a safe and effective manner.
  2. Ensure accurate and precise delivery of prescribed radiation doses.
  3. Monitor patients' reactions and response to treatment and report any unusual reactions or side effects.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.
  6. Educate patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care during treatment.
  7. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to protect patients, staff, and self from radiation exposure.
  9. Continuously stay updated on advances in radiation therapy techniques and equipment.
  10. Provide emotional support and compassion to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  16. Attend and actively participate in department meetings and educational sessions.
  17. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  18. Maintain a professional and positive attitude, representing the hospital's mission and values.
  19. Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork accurately and timely.
  20. Perform other related duties as assigned by the department manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Associate's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field.

  • Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • State Licensure As A Radiation Therapist.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Radiation Therapy Equipment And Procedures, Including Experience With Treatment Planning And Delivery.
