Job Description

At BJC HealthCare, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Quality Patient Care Consultant to join our team. The Quality Patient Care Consultant is an integral part of our quality improvement team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing their expertise to evaluate and improve the quality of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality improvement methodologies, a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams. If you have a commitment to quality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically, we would love to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting• Knowledge of quality improvement methods and performance improvement strategies• Demonstrated track record of successful quality improvement initiatives• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor the quality of patient care in a healthcare setting and recommend areas of improvement.

• Utilize quality improvement methods and performance improvement strategies to ensure the highest level of patient care.

• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

• Monitor and provide feedback on patients’ care and outcomes.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care processes.

• Collect and analyze data to identify areas of improvement and monitor progress.

• Stay up-to-date on healthcare regulations and industry changes.

• Create and present reports to senior management team.

• Facilitate meetings and workshops to educate and train healthcare teams.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain databases to track and measure quality metrics.
