Job Description

At BJC HealthCare, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and strive for continuous improvement in all areas of care. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our Quality Improvement team, developing and implementing strategies to ensure we are meeting our quality objectives.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Nursing, Quality Management, or Health Administration, and at least three years of experience in a healthcare quality improvement position. They must also have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. They must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and have a passion for quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure quality objectives are met.
  2. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  3. Communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
  4. Maintain organizational records and track progress of quality improvement initiatives.
  5. Monitor patient care processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Analyze data and trends to identify areas of improvement.
  7. Implement new quality improvement processes and procedures.
  8. Develop and present reports to stakeholders on quality improvement initiatives.
  9. Participate in quality improvement meetings and provide feedback.
  10. Stay up-to-date with developments in quality improvement and healthcare industry regulations.
