Job Description

BJC HealthCare is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team and help us continue to promote quality care and service. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving health care processes and outcomes. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated individual who is passionate about patient care and has a great attitude towards collaboration and learning.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in health care, public health, or a related field, and at least three years of experience working in a health care setting. Strong knowledge of quality improvement methods, such as Lean Six Sigma, is also highly desirable. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor, evaluate, and improve health care processes and outcomes.
  2. Utilize quality improvement methods, such as Lean Six Sigma, to drive process improvement.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve health care quality and safety.
  4. Collaborate with other health care departments and teams to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
  5. Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Educate staff on quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
  7. Report on quality improvement progress and outcomes.
  8. Develop and implement action plans to address any identified quality issues.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  10. Participate in regular meetings with leadership to review progress and results.
