Job Description

BJC HealthCare is looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team! As the Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, and providing support to the Quality Improvement team. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of healthcare quality improvement and be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, and be committed to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, including establishing goals, objectives, strategies, and timelines.
  2. Monitor and evaluate quality improvement activities to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Provide guidance and support to the Quality Improvement team, ensuring that project objectives are met.
  4. Identify and address any gaps in quality improvement processes, policies, and procedures.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, and other organizations.
  6. Prepare and present reports on quality improvement initiatives and progress.
  7. Stay up to date with changes and advancements in healthcare quality improvement.
  8. Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  9. Participate in continuous improvement projects and other quality improvement initiatives.
  10. Facilitate and support quality improvement activities, such as educational programs and workshops.
