  1. Provide administrative support to the Lung Transplant team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating communication between team members.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for patients and their families, answering questions, providing support, and addressing any concerns.
  3. Maintain a high level of organization in all aspects of the lung transplant process, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation is complete and accurate.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients, including scheduling appointments, ordering tests, and arranging transportation.
  5. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families, understanding the physical and emotional challenges they may be facing.
  6. Uphold the highest standards of customer service, responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries and requests.
  7. Follow all confidentiality and privacy protocols to protect the sensitive information of patients and their families.
  8. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on patient progress, as well as any potential issues or concerns.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional growth, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices in lung transplant care.
  10. Adhere to all BJC HealthCare policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and legal requirements, to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Nursing.

  • Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Transplant Services.

  • Knowledge Of Lung Transplant Procedures And Protocols.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Handle Sensitive Patient Information Confidentially.
