Job Description

At BJC HealthCare, we are in search of a Practice Manager - Primary Care who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and service. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as an understanding of the complex administrative and operational responsibilities of a primary care practice. The Practice Manager - Primary Care will work closely with our Primary Care team to ensure we are delivering the highest quality of care to our patients and providing an outstanding experience for each and every one of them.The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of practice management experience in a primary care setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare system. They must also have a Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field, as well as a working knowledge of healthcare regulations and requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the daily operations of the primary care practice, striving to meet the highest standards of care and customer service.
  2. Develop and implement operational and strategic plans to ensure the primary care practice is meeting its goals and objectives.
  3. Ensure the practice is compliant with all relevant healthcare regulations and requirements.
  4. Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, and provide ongoing coaching and professional development.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members, and provide feedback and guidance.
  6. Manage the budget and finances for the primary care practice, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers.
  8. Address any patient and staff concerns, and resolve any conflicts in a professional manner.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the practice is running smoothly and efficiently.
  10. Generate reports and analyze data to track the performance of the practice.
