Power Plant Operator

To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as five or more years of experience in an industrial power plant or related field. You must also have a strong knowledge of power plant operations, including steam turbine and generator operations, boiler operations, electrical systems, and HVAC systems. 1. Operate and maintain all power plant systems and related equipment.
2. Ensure all systems are functioning in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Monitor and troubleshoot all power plant systems and equipment for any irregularities.
4. Perform regular preventative maintenance on power plant systems and equipment.
5. Maintain accurate records of power plant operations and equipment.
6. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while operating power plant systems.
7. Work effectively and collaboratively with other members of the team.
8. Respond to emergency situations and take necessary steps to resolve them.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
