Job Description

As a Performance Improvement Manager at BJC HealthCare, you will play a crucial role in driving and sustaining high-quality care for our patients.   1. Develop and implement performance improvement strategies and initiatives to enhance overall quality of care for patients.
  2. Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards performance goals.
  3. Collaborate with leadership and staff to establish performance improvement goals and action plans.
  4. Conduct regular audits and evaluations to assess compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Provide training and support to staff on performance improvement tools and methodologies.
  6. Act as a liaison between various departments and teams to facilitate communication and collaboration in performance improvement efforts.
  7. Utilize quality improvement methodologies to identify root causes of performance issues and develop effective solutions.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and organizations to benchmark best practices and stay current on industry trends.
  9. Develop and deliver presentations and reports on performance improvement initiatives and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance improvement efforts and make adjustments as needed.
  11. Serve as a role model for a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
  12. Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all performance improvement activities.
  13. Lead and facilitate performance improvement teams and committees.
  14. Mentor and coach staff on performance improvement principles and practices.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare organizations and participate in professional development activities to stay current on performance improvement best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Performance Improvement Or Quality Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Performance Improvement Methodologies, Such As Lean Six Sigma Or Pdca.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Effectively Use Data To Identify Areas For Improvement.

  • Experience In Project Management, Leading Cross-Functional Teams, And Implementing Performance Improvement Initiatives.
