Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to young patients at our pediatric mental health facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, excellent communication skills, and a heart for working with children.   1. Provide direct care and support to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
  2. Assist in implementing treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of mental health professionals.
  3. Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for patients.
  5. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  7. Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic activities and programs.
  8. Participate in training and education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  9. Adhere to all policies and procedures, including confidentiality and ethical standards.
  10. Support and promote a positive and compassionate culture within the pediatric mental health facility.
  11. Advocate for the needs and rights of young patients.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
  13. Remain up-to-date with current research and best practices in pediatric mental health.
  14. Handle crisis situations with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  15. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In A Mental Health Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Child Development, Behavioral Disorders, And Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Understanding Of And Adherence To Ethical Guidelines And Regulations Related To Mental Health Care For Children.
