  1. Provide specialized psychological services and interventions to a diverse population of young patients.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
  4. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in pediatric psychology.
  8. Attend trainings, seminars, and conferences to further develop skills and expertise.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of patient care.
  10. Provide guidance and support to other members of the healthcare team regarding psychological aspects of patient care.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  12. Act as a resource and advocate for patients and their families.
  13. Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  14. Attend regular supervision and meetings with mentors and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology: A Candidate For The Pediatric Psychology Fellow Position At Bjc Healthcare Must Possess A Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology From An Accredited Program. This Ensures That The Individual Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills In Psychological Assessment, Diagnosis, And Treatment Of Pediatric Patients.

  • Specialization In Pediatric Psychology: Bjc Healthcare Is Specifically Looking For Candidates Who Have Completed A Specialization In Pediatric Psychology. This Shows That The Individual Has A Strong Interest And Training In Working With Children And Adolescents, And Is Well-Equipped To Address The Unique Psychological Needs Of This Population.

  • Previous Experience In Pediatric Settings: The Ideal Candidate For The Pediatric Psychology Fellow Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In Pediatric Settings, Such As Hospitals, Clinics, Or Schools. This Demonstrates A Familiarity With The Challenges And Demands Of Working With Children And Their Families, And The Ability To Adapt To A Healthcare Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Interventions: Bjc Healthcare Places A Strong Emphasis On Evidence-Based Practice, And Therefore Looks For Candidates Who Have A Solid Understanding Of Evidence-Based Interventions For Pediatric Patients.
