- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual and group therapy to children and their families, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers on strategies for managing their child's mental health needs.
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient sessions and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in pediatric psychology to continually enhance patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input regarding patient care.
- Serve as an advocate for children and their families, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and their families as needed.
- Collaborate with community resources and organizations to enhance support for patients and their families.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of mental health services.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and expand knowledge and skills related to pediatric psychology.

A Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology Or Counseling Psychology With A Specialization In Child And Adolescent Psychology.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Working With Pediatric Populations, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Current Licensure As A Psychologist In The State Of Missouri, Or Ability To Obtain Licensure Within 6 Months Of Hire.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Child Development, Pediatric Mental Health Disorders, And Evidence-Based Treatment Interventions.
Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals, To Provide Comprehensive Care To Pediatric Patients.
