Your expertise and compassion will be vital in ensuring the highest quality of care for our young patients and their families.To be successful in this role, you must possess a current Nurse Practitioner certification and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric hospitalist or acute care setting.   1. Provide comprehensive and specialized care to pediatric patients within a hospital setting.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct physical assessments, diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  4. Prescribe medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care measures.
  6. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  7. Document patient care and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  8. Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  9. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during hospital stays.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing evidence-based practice guidelines.
  11. Stay informed about current developments and best practices in pediatric care.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  13. Promote a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
  14. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare professionals.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
  16. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  17. Collaborate with community resources and organizations to promote pediatric health and well-being.
  18. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  19. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Pediatric Primary Or Acute Care.

  • Current Certification As A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Pnp) From A Recognized Accrediting Body.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In A Pediatric Hospitalist Role.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills In Pediatric Primary And Acute Care, Including Diagnosis And Treatment Of Common Pediatric Conditions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Family-Centered Care.
