
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Department

- Provide high-quality care to young patients in emergency situations.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
- Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and home care instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Stay current with advancements and changes in pediatric care through ongoing education and training.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during stressful and challenging situations.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare facilities to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Advocate for the needs of pediatric patients and their families.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
A Valid State License As A Registered Nurse And Advanced Practice Nurse, With A Specialization In Pediatrics.
A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner In A Pediatric Emergency Department Setting.
Current Certification As A Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Provider.
Knowledge And Proficiency In Managing Pediatric Emergencies And Providing Acute Care To Pediatric Patients In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Pediatric Patients And Their Families.
