  1. Provide high-quality care to young patients in emergency situations.
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as needed.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  7. Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and home care instructions.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  10. Stay current with advancements and changes in pediatric care through ongoing education and training.
  11. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during stressful and challenging situations.
  12. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare facilities to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  13. Advocate for the needs of pediatric patients and their families.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  15. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • A Valid State License As A Registered Nurse And Advanced Practice Nurse, With A Specialization In Pediatrics.

  • A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner In A Pediatric Emergency Department Setting.

  • Current Certification As A Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Provider.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Managing Pediatric Emergencies And Providing Acute Care To Pediatric Patients In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Pediatric Patients And Their Families.
