  1. Monitor and observe patients in a calm and professional manner.
  2. Maintain constant visual contact with assigned patients to ensure their safety.
  3. Report any changes in patient behavior or condition to medical staff.
  4. Assist patients with basic needs such as using the bathroom or getting comfortable in bed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
  6. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  7. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times.
  8. Remain alert and attentive during shifts to prevent any accidents or incidents.
  9. Provide a reassuring and comforting presence for patients during their stay.

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Patient Observer Job At Bjc Healthcare Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education To Effectively Communicate And Understand Instructions.
