  1. Greet and welcome patients to BJC HealthCare with a warm and empathetic attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by being attentive, compassionate, and responsive to their needs.
  3. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication and understanding of treatment plans.
  4. Guide and support patients through the healthcare system, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  5. Schedule and coordinate appointments, procedures, and follow-up care for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and financial information.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and efficient patient experience.
  8. Assist patients with insurance and billing inquiries, providing resources and guidance as needed.
  9. Educate patients on their health conditions and treatment options, promoting self-management and wellness.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve patient navigation processes to enhance the overall patient experience.
  11. Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  12. Uphold BJC HealthCare's mission and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in patient navigation to provide the highest level of care to patients.
  14. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Adhere to all policies and procedures of BJC HealthCare to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, Or Related Field.

  • Previous Experience In A Patient Navigation Or Care Coordination Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Systems, Including Insurance Policies And Coverage.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Navigate And Advocate For Patients.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Data Management Systems.
