Job Description

  1. Analyze and review patient accounts to ensure accuracy in billing and coding.

  4. Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and provide assistance in understanding their healthcare charges.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized records of patient accounts and billing transactions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations and insurance policies to ensure compliance in billing practices.
  7. Work closely with other departments, such as medical records and finance, to ensure seamless billing processes.
  8. Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and identify any potential issues.
  9. Develop and implement strategies to improve billing processes and increase efficiency.
  10. Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Billing And/Or Collections.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Coding, Including Icd-10 And Cpt Codes.

  • Proficiency In Using Electronic Medical Record Systems And Billing Software, Such As Epic Or Meditech.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Billing Issues.
