- Facilitate the registration and admission process for patients, including verifying insurance information and collecting necessary documents and signatures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and department policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to gather necessary information and ensure a smooth admission process.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Patient Access Rep I At Bjc Healthcare Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Communication, Math, And Computer Skills Required For The Job.
Customer Service Experience: A Patient Access Rep I Is Responsible For Interacting With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Previous Experience In Customer Service Or A Similar Role Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Handle Patient Inquiries And Provide Excellent Service.
