
Pathology Lab Manager

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pathology laboratory, including scheduling, staffing, and resource management.
- Ensure that all laboratory processes and procedures are in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Manage and train a team of laboratory professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their continued growth and development.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of laboratory results for patient care.
- Monitor and analyze laboratory metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for increased efficiency and productivity.
- Manage laboratory budget and make recommendations for equipment and supply purchases.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices, incorporating new technologies and techniques into laboratory operations.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and leadership to provide updates on laboratory operations, issues, and achievements.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment for laboratory staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory processes and procedures.
- Participate in performance evaluations and make recommendations for promotions and disciplinary actions.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and professionalism.
- Represent the laboratory at meetings and conferences, as needed.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Operations And Quality Control Procedures, Including Experience With Regulatory Standards And Accreditation Requirements.
Excellent Leadership And Management Skills, With Proven Experience In Supervising And Developing A Team Of Laboratory Staff.
Proficient In Laboratory Information Systems And Data Management, With The Ability To Analyze And Present Data To Inform Decision-Making.
Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Healthcare Providers, Patients, And Other Stakeholders.
