  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  2. Utilize advanced skills and knowledge as a Paramedic to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in emergency situations.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and interventions.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in emergency care through continuing education and training.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional customer service.
  8. Work collaboratively with emergency medical services (EMS) personnel and other first responders to provide seamless care for patients.
  9. Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement by actively participating in departmental initiatives and processes.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as BJC HealthCare policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain a valid Paramedic license and keep all certifications and credentials current.
  13. Provide support and assistance to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
  14. Exhibit a strong work ethic and dedication to the mission and values of BJC HealthCare.
  15. Continuously strive for personal and professional development through self-reflection and seeking feedback from peers and supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification As A Paramedic By The National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians (Nremt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Paramedic In An Emergency Department Or Ambulance Setting.

  • Completion Of A State-Approved Paramedic Training Program.

  • Current Cpr And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Assess And Prioritize Patient Needs In A Fast-Paced Environment.
