  1. Collect and maintain accurate and comprehensive oncology data in electronic medical records and databases.
  2. Review and analyze complex oncology data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards for data collection and reporting.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to obtain necessary data and resolve discrepancies.
  5. Develop and implement data quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and completeness of oncology data.
  6. Create reports and presentations to communicate data findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  7. Stay informed about new developments and advancements in the field of oncology data management.
  8. Train and educate staff on oncology data collection and documentation procedures.
  9. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support clinical research and quality improvement projects.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when handling sensitive patient information.
  11. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to oncology data management.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve data management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Act as a resource for colleagues and provide guidance on oncology data-related inquiries.
  14. Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot data system issues and implement solutions.
  15. Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in oncology data management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Oncology Data Management.

  • Knowledge Of Cancer Registry Operations And Reporting Requirements.

  • Certification As A Certified Tumor Registrar (Ctr) Preferred.

  • Proficiency In Medical Terminology And Electronic Health Record Systems.
