- Conduct comprehensive assessments of women's health and provide accurate diagnosis based on findings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and ordering necessary tests.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes, test results, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Stay up-to-date on current advancements and best practices in women's healthcare.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the delivery of patient care.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Monitor and track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to all BJC HealthCare policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare facility.
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Women's Health Or A Related Field.
Current Certification As A Women's Health Nurse Practitioner From A Recognized National Certification Board.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In A Women's Health Setting.
Current And Unrestricted State License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner.
Strong Clinical Skills, Including The Ability To Perform Physical Exams, Order And Interpret Diagnostic Tests, And Develop Treatment Plans For Women's Health Conditions.
