  1. Assist in conducting neurodiagnostic tests, such as EEGs and EMGs, under the supervision of a licensed neurodiagnostic technologist.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient procedures and results.
  3. Prepare and set up equipment for neurodiagnostic procedures.
  4. Follow established protocols and safety standards to ensure the well-being of patients during procedures.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear instructions and answering any questions or concerns.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and timely patient care.
  7. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of neurodiagnostics.
  8. Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment used for neurodiagnostic procedures.
  9. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  12. Attend departmental meetings and provide input on ways to improve processes and patient care.
  13. Stay up-to-date on advancements and developments in the field of neurology and neurodiagnostics.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed An Accredited Program In Neurodiagnostic Technology, Which Includes Coursework And Clinical Experience In Performing Various Neurodiagnostic Tests.

  • Knowledge Of Neuroanatomy And Physiology: A Strong Understanding Of Neuroanatomy And Physiology Is Essential For Accurately Interpreting Neurodiagnostic Test Results And Identifying Abnormalities.

  • Familiarity With Neurodiagnostic Equipment: Candidates Should Be Familiar With The Operation And Maintenance Of Various Neurodiagnostic Equipment, Such As Eeg Machines, Nerve Conduction Studies, And Evoked Potentials Devices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Neurodiagnostic Intern, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary For Effectively Explaining Procedures And Results To Patients And Collaborating With Other Team Members.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Independently: Neurodiagnostic Testing Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Precision. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Attention To Detail And The Ability To Work Independently While Following Established Protocols And Procedures.
