MRI Technologist - Operating Room

1. Perform MRI scans on patients in the operating room setting, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging results.
2. Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions.
3. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging protocol for each patient.
4. Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
5. Monitor patients during scans and provide necessary support and comfort measures.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results.
7. Follow all hospital and department policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
8. Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with maintaining accreditation standards.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
11. Train and mentor new MRI Technologists and students.
12. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and confidentiality.
13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate communication of scan results.
14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
15. Actively participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
