  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of medical equipment across multiple healthcare facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues with medical equipment.
  3. Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
  4. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for medical equipment.
  5. Collaborate with other technicians and healthcare staff to identify and address equipment needs.
  6. Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients regarding equipment issues and repairs.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices for medical equipment maintenance and repair.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing repairs and maintenance.
  9. Assist in the procurement and installation of new medical equipment.
  10. Train and mentor other technicians as needed.
  11. Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.
  13. Respond quickly to urgent equipment issues and prioritize repairs accordingly.
  14. Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers for repairs and maintenance services.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment: The Mobile Medical Equipment Technician Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Medical Equipment And Their Functions, Including But Not Limited To Ventilators, Infusion Pumps, And Patient Monitors.

  • Technical Skills: This Role Requires Strong Technical Skills, Including The Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Medical Equipment, Perform Preventive Maintenance, And Set Up New Equipment.

  • Communication Skills: As The Mobile Medical Equipment Technician Will Be Interacting With Different Departments And Healthcare Professionals, Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential. They Should Be Able To Explain Technical Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic, Is Necessary For This Role. This Ensures Familiarity With Hospital Protocols And Procedures, As Well As An Understanding Of The Importance Of Patient Safety.

  • Attention To Detail: The Mobile Medical Equipment Technician Should Be Detail-Oriented And Have A Keen Eye For Identifying And Fixing Equipment Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Maintain Accurate Records Of Equipment Maintenance And Repairs.
