We are currently seeking a Mobile Health Van Driver (CDL Class B) to join our team and help us expand our reach to those in need.   1. Operate the Mobile Health Van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  2. Assist in the loading and unloading of healthcare equipment and supplies onto the van.
  3. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Mobile Health Van, ensuring it is always presentable for patients.
  4. Drive the Mobile Health Van to various locations within the community, following a predetermined schedule.
  5. Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the van, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  6. Assist patients in filling out necessary forms and paperwork.
  7. Escort patients onto the van and assist them in getting comfortable for their appointments.
  8. Ensure that all necessary medical equipment and supplies are properly set up and ready for use.
  9. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
  10. Keep accurate records of patient visits, including details such as appointment times and services provided.
  11. Assist in promoting the Mobile Health Van and its services to the community.
  12. Maintain a valid CDL Class B license and adhere to all state and federal regulations for commercial drivers.
  13. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  14. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to the position.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of BJC HealthCare, promoting a positive image of the organization at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Cdl Class B License: The Mobile Health Van Driver Must Possess A Valid Cdl Class B License To Operate The Vehicle And Transport Medical Equipment And Supplies To Different Locations.

  • Clean Driving Record: Bjc Healthcare Requires All Drivers To Have A Clean Driving Record, With No History Of Accidents Or Traffic Violations. This Ensures The Safety Of Both The Driver And The Patients Being Transported.

  • Experience In Healthcare Industry: Previous Experience In The Healthcare Industry, Such As Working As An Emt Or Providing Transportation Services For A Medical Facility, Is Preferred. This Will Help The Driver Understand The Unique Needs And Protocols Of Transporting Patients And Medical Equipment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As The Mobile Health Van Driver Will Be Interacting With Patients, Medical Staff, And Other Drivers On A Daily Basis, Strong Communication Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate Information, Directions, And Any Changes In Schedule Or Route.

  • Physical Ability: The Job Of A Mobile Health Van Driver Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Medical Equipment And Supplies. Therefore, Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform The Necessary Tasks Without Difficulty.
