Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting our mobile health van to various locations, providing access to healthcare services to underserved populations.   1. Safely and efficiently operate a mobile health van to transport it to designated locations.
  2. Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  3. Keep the mobile health van in clean and working condition at all times.
  4. Coordinate with team members to plan and execute a schedule for mobile health van visits.
  5. Provide friendly and professional customer service to all patients and community members.
  6. Assist in setting up and breaking down the mobile health van at each location.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment on the mobile health van.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on the job.
  9. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and maintenance for the mobile health van.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices and procedures.
  11. Continuously promote health equity and access to healthcare services for underserved populations.
  12. Communicate any issues or concerns with the mobile health van to the appropriate supervisor.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and respect for all patients and their personal information.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote the mobile health van and its services.
  15. Attend team meetings and provide input for improving the mobile health van program.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Mobile Health Van Driver At Bjc Healthcare Is A Valid Driver's License. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Legally Allowed To Operate A Vehicle And Has The Necessary Skills To Drive Safely.

  • Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): Since The Mobile Health Van Is Considered A Commercial Vehicle, Having A Cdl Is Preferred. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Undergone Additional Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Drive A Larger Vehicle.

  • Experience In Healthcare Or Transportation: Previous Experience In The Healthcare Or Transportation Industry Is Highly Desirable For A Mobile Health Van Driver. This Shows That The Candidate Has Knowledge Of Medical Protocols And/Or Experience In Driving A Large Vehicle, Both Of Which Are Essential For This Role.

  • Excellent Driving Record: Bjc Healthcare Values Safety And Responsibility, And A Clean Driving Record Is A Must For A Mobile Health Van Driver. Candidates Should Have A History Of Obeying Traffic Laws And Safe Driving Practices.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Mobile Health Van Driver, The Candidate Will Interact With Various Individuals, Including Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Staff Members. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Convey Information And Communicate With Different Personalities, Are Essential For This Role.
