  1. Conduct laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  2. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  3. Use various laboratory equipment and instruments to perform tests, maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information.
  5. Communicate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results.
  6. Adhere to quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain the integrity of the laboratory results.
  7. Keep up-to-date with new developments and techniques in the field of medical laboratory technology.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations of the laboratory.
  9. Participate in continuing education and training programs to maintain and improve technical skills.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families by answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with safety and infection control regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other laboratory technicians and healthcare professionals to improve laboratory processes and patient care.
  13. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining laboratory accreditation.
  15. Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic while working independently and as part of a team.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency.

  • Associate Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Specimen Processing, Testing, And Reporting.

  • Strong Attention To Detail, Organization, And Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
