  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
  2. Provide leadership and support to the nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and supervision.
  3. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement unit goals, policies, and procedures.
  4. Ensure that all nursing staff follow established protocols and standards of care.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and take corrective actions as needed.
  6. Conduct regular staff meetings, communicate updates and changes, and address any concerns or issues raised by the staff.
  7. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care.
  9. Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new nursing staff.
  10. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff on their performance.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to patient care and unit operations.
  12. Handle patient and family complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in critical care nursing and implement them in the unit.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and open communication.
  15. Adhere to all organizational policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Critical Care Or Medical Icu.

  • Current State Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, As Well As Experience With Quality Improvement Initiatives.
