Bachelor's Degree In Medical Dosimetry Or Related Field: Bjc Healthcare Requires Candidates For The Medical Dosimetrist Position To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Medical Dosimetry Or A Related Field Such As Radiation Therapy Or Medical Physics.
Certification By The Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (Mdcb): Bjc Healthcare Seeks Candidates Who Are Certified By The Mdcb, Which Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field Of Medical Dosimetry.
Experience In Treatment Planning And Delivery: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Treatment Planning And Delivery In A Clinical Setting. This Experience Should Include The Use Of Advanced Treatment Planning Systems And Techniques, Such As Imrt And Sbrt.
Knowledge Of Radiation Safety And Quality Assurance: Bjc Healthcare Values Candidates Who Have A Strong Understanding Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Quality Assurance Measures. This Includes Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements, Equipment Calibration, And Proper Documentation Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Part Of The Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team, Medical Dosimetrists At Bjc Healthcare Must Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
