Medical Coder

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in medical coding and a passion for supporting our healthcare mission. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.The successful candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma and at least two years of medical coding experience. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems is a must. The ability to interpret medical information and provide accurate coding is essential. Responsibilities:

1. Accurately code medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
2. Review medical records to ensure that all codes are correct and up to date.
3. Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
4. Ensure that all coding is compliant with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
5. Communicate with other departments in a professional manner.
6. Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
7. Stay current with changes in coding regulations and systems.
8. Monitor and document coding billing and reimbursement activities.
9. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
10. Assist with the development and implementation of coding strategies.
