We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in medical coding and a passion for supporting our healthcare mission. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.The successful candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma and at least two years of medical coding experience. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems is a must. The ability to interpret medical information and provide accurate coding is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately code medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Review medical records to ensure that all codes are correct and up to date.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all coding is compliant with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
- Communicate with other departments in a professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
- Stay current with changes in coding regulations and systems.
- Monitor and document coding billing and reimbursement activities.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with the development and implementation of coding strategies.
