- Assist physicians with patient exams and procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient information, test results, and treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and support, including explaining procedures and treatments, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment for use during exams and procedures.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed by physicians.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and processing insurance claims.
- Stay informed about the latest developments and advancements in the healthcare field, and continuously improve knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure efficient and timely patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervising physician or healthcare managers.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Ent Or Otolaryngology Setting
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Anatomy, And Procedures Related To Ent Care
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems And Other Computer Applications
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Team Members
