Current Arrt Mammography Certification: Bjc Healthcare Requires All Mammography Technologists To Hold A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mammography. This Ensures That Our Technologists Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform High-Quality Mammograms.
State Licensure: In Addition To The Arrt Certification, Bjc Healthcare Also Requires Mammography Technologists To Hold A Current License From The State In Which They Will Be Practicing. This Demonstrates That They Have Met The Requirements Set By The State For Performing Mammography Procedures.
Experience With Digital Mammography Equipment: Bjc Healthcare Utilizes State-Of-The-Art Digital Mammography Equipment, And Therefore, Requires Mammography Technologists To Have Experience And Proficiency In Working With This Technology. This Ensures That Our Patients Receive The Most Accurate And Efficient Mammogram Results.
Knowledge Of Breast Anatomy And Pathology: Mammography Technologists At Bjc Healthcare Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Breast Anatomy And Pathology In Order To Accurately Interpret Mammogram Images And Detect Any Abnormalities. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Providing High-Quality Care To Our Patients.
