
Lab Associate II - Processing

- Conduct laboratory processing and analysis of patient specimens to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for handling, labeling, and storing specimens to maintain quality and accuracy of results.
- Utilize various laboratory equipment and instruments to perform tests and obtain accurate results.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure adequate stock levels to support daily operations.
- Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document and report all results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during testing.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the laboratory.
- Maintain knowledge of current laboratory procedures and technology and participate in ongoing training and development.
- Comply with all regulatory agency requirements and maintain accreditation standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field.
Ascp Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist Or Equivalent.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Instruments, As Well As Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Lab Tests.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Maintain Laboratory Data.
