Job Description

In this role, you will play a vital role in processing and analyzing laboratory specimens to help diagnose and treat patients.   1. Conduct laboratory processing and analysis of patient specimens to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  2. Follow established protocols and procedures for handling, labeling, and storing specimens to maintain quality and accuracy of results.
  3. Utilize various laboratory equipment and instruments to perform tests and obtain accurate results.
  4. Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure adequate stock levels to support daily operations.
  5. Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of results.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Document and report all results accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during testing.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the laboratory.
  10. Maintain knowledge of current laboratory procedures and technology and participate in ongoing training and development.
  11. Comply with all regulatory agency requirements and maintain accreditation standards.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field.

  • Ascp Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist Or Equivalent.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Instruments, As Well As Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Lab Tests.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Maintain Laboratory Data.
