  1. Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure the accuracy and quality of collected samples.
  3. Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring their comfort and safety during phlebotomy procedures.
  4. Record and maintain accurate and detailed patient information, including specimen collection and handling details.
  5. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including proper documentation and labeling of specimens.
  6. Utilize excellent communication skills to interact with patients, coworkers, and healthcare professionals.
  7. Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
  8. Maintain inventory and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  9. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in phlebotomy techniques.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Phlebotomist In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician (Pbt) Through A Nationally Recognized Organization (Ascp, Amt, Etc.).

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Specimen Collection, Handling, And Processing.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Team Members.
