- Prepare tissue samples for analysis and diagnosis according to established protocols and procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments used for tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting.
- Perform quality control and ensure accuracy of results by following standard operating procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and results.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve any problems that may arise during tissue processing.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide accurate and timely results for patient care.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in histotechnology.
