Welcome to the High Risk Cardiology team at BJC HealthCare! We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a High Risk Cardiologist.   1. Evaluate and diagnose complex and high-risk cardiac conditions in patients.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with high-risk cardiac conditions.
  3. Perform advanced and specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and cardiac imaging.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate the care of high-risk cardiac patients.
  5. Monitor and manage patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  7. Participate in research and clinical trials to advance knowledge and treatment of high-risk cardiac conditions.
  8. Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in the field of cardiology.
  9. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and treatment.
  11. Work closely with support staff, including nurses, technicians, and administrative personnel, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  13. Collaborate with other members of the High Risk Cardiology team to develop and implement best practices and protocols.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide compassionate and comprehensive care.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Cardiology: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Degree With Specialization In Cardiology Is Essential For A High-Risk Cardiology Position At Bjc Healthcare. This Degree Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Field And Is Equipped To Handle Complex Cases.

  • Board Certification: Candidates For The High-Risk Cardiology Position Should Be Board Certified In Cardiology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine. This Certification Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Expertise In The Field.

  • Extensive Experience: Bjc Healthcare Requires Candidates To Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Specifically In High-Risk Cardiology. This Experience Should Include Managing Complex Cases, Performing Procedures Such As Angioplasty And Stent Placement, And Working In A Multidisciplinary Team.
