Health Information Technician

BJC HealthCare seeks a Health Information Technician to provide technical and administrative support to our Health Information Management team. The successful candidate will possess excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills and be able to work within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Provide technical and administrative support to the Health Information Management team • Enter data into the medical records system accurately and in a timely manner • Assist with filing, coding, and auditing of medical records • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers • Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained • Ensure accuracy of all records and data • Monitor system reports for accuracy and completeness • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Health Information Management team
