Gift Shop Clerk

1. Greet and welcome customers to the Gift Shop in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist customers with their purchases, providing product information and recommendations as needed.
3. Maintain a clean and organized shopping environment, ensuring merchandise is neatly displayed and restocked.
4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale system.
5. Handle cash and credit card payments, making sure to follow proper cash handling procedures.
6. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and conducting regular inventory counts.
7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
8. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, both in person and over the phone.
9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
11. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction, seeking out opportunities to enhance the shopping experience.
12. Stay informed about new products and promotions, and assist with merchandising and promotional displays.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Gift Shop Manager.
