Job Description

  1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the foundation's operations, including fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to secure funding for healthcare programs and initiatives.
  3. Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to increase philanthropic support.
  4. Keep track of all donations and maintain accurate records of donor information.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote the foundation's initiatives and programs.
  6. Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors.
  7. Prepare and submit grant proposals, ensuring they meet all requirements and deadlines.
  8. Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to engage the community and raise awareness of our mission.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Work closely with the healthcare team to understand and effectively communicate the impact of donations on the community.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy.
  12. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in fundraising and donor relations.
  13. Represent the foundation at community events and meetings to promote our mission and build relationships.
  14. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure alignment and support for fundraising initiatives.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude and serve as a positive ambassador for BJC HealthCare and the foundation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Nonprofit Management

  • Previous Experience In Fundraising And Development, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Donors And Stakeholders

  • Knowledge Of Grant Writing And Fundraising Strategies, As Well As Experience Managing Budgets And Financial Reports

  • Familiarity With Healthcare Regulations, Compliance, And Ethical Considerations Related To Fundraising In The Healthcare Industry.
