  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the laboratory division, in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of BJC HealthCare.
  2. Drive the vision for the laboratory services, continuously evaluating and improving processes to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  3. Provide strong leadership to the laboratory team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  4. Manage all aspects of laboratory operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes in the field of laboratory services, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration and delivery of laboratory services.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, providing opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards in the laboratory division.
  10. Serve as a spokesperson for the laboratory division, representing BJC HealthCare at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, patients, and external partners.
  12. Oversee the implementation and utilization of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and quality of laboratory services.
  13. Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the laboratory budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  14. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff to ensure high-quality performance and development.
  15. Communicate and collaborate effectively with other executive leaders to drive organizational goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Laboratory Science, Healthcare Administration, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Healthcare Organization, Preferably In A Laboratory Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Operations, Quality Assurance, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Financial Management, Budgeting, And Strategic Planning.

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Team-Building Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders.
