
Electrophysiologist
BJC HealthCare is seeking an experienced Electrophysiologist to join our team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to our patients. In this role, you will serve as a key member of our cardiovascular team, working collaboratively to provide comprehensive cardiac care.The successful candidate will have a Medical Doctor degree and must be board certified in both Cardiology and Electrophysiology. Additionally, they must have five or more years of experience in Electrophysiology and the ability to work with all types of patients. They must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain positive relationships with patients and other staff members. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat arrhythmias and other cardiac conditions in patients.
- Perform electrophysiology procedures, such as ablation, pacemaker implantation, and defibrillator implantation.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments accordingly.
- Utilize and interpret diagnostic testing results to diagnose and treat cardiac patients.
- Collaborate with other members of the cardiovascular team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients on their condition and treatment options.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to hospital protocols and procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients and other medical staff members.
- Remain current on advances in electrophysiology and other relevant medical topics.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practices.
