You will work closely with our team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in neurophysiology and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. - Conduct EEGs, nerve conduction studies, and other specialized tests to diagnose and treat neurological conditions.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing tests and interpreting results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate test results for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of neurodiagnostics.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of neurophysiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in the execution of tests and procedures.
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the testing process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of test results and patient information, following HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to the training and education of new EEG/Neurodiagnostic Technologists and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) and stay current with continuing education requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.
- Remain professional and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities to stay informed of best practices and advancements in the field.

Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field (E.g. Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology)
Certification As A Registered Eeg Technologist (R. Eeg T.) Through The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret)
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Performing Eegs And Other Neurodiagnostic Tests In A Healthcare Setting
Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology Of The Nervous System, As Well As Common Neurological Disorders And Treatments
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Interpret And Document Test Results
