  1. Develop and implement strategic plans and policies for the admissions and financial aid department, aligned with the overall goals and mission of BJC HealthCare.
  2. Oversee the admissions and financial aid processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all applications and financial aid requests.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions and financial aid process for patients.
  4. Manage a team of admissions and financial aid staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor and analyze data related to admissions and financial aid, identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to leadership.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and agencies to promote and enhance the availability of financial aid options for patients.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to admissions and financial aid, and make necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
  8. Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the department's budget.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to admissions and financial aid.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the admissions and financial aid department and other departments within BJC HealthCare, as well as external partners and agencies.
  11. Handle escalated inquiries and complaints related to admissions and financial aid, and work towards resolutions in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Participate in relevant meetings, committees, and other activities to represent the admissions and financial aid department and provide updates and recommendations.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes, systems, and technology used in the admissions and financial aid department to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Or Education.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Admissions And Financial Aid, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Financial Aid Regulations, As Well As Admissions Processes And Best Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations And Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Including Experience Managing A Team And Developing Strategic Plans To Achieve Departmental Goals.
