Associate's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics: A Diet Technician At Bjc Healthcare Should Have A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics From An Accredited Institution. This Provides A Strong Foundation In Nutrition Principles And Hands-On Experience In Dietary Planning And Management.
Certification As A Dietetic Technician, Registered (Dtr): Bjc Healthcare Requires Candidates For The Diet Technician Position To Hold A Dtr Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Competency In Providing Nutrition Services And Adhering To Ethical Standards.
