  1. Provide high-quality care and support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
  2. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall health and well-being.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  5. Educate patients and their families on the dialysis process, potential complications, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  8. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions.
  9. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and protocols.
  10. Maintain a professional and positive attitude, representing BJC HealthCare and our commitment to exceptional care.
  11. Be available to work on a PRN (as needed) basis, including weekends and holidays.
  12. Maintain current knowledge of dialysis equipment, procedures, and medications.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
  15. Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License In The State Of Missouri

  • Bls Certification From The American Heart Association

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In Acute Care Hemodialysis

  • Ability To Work Prn (As Needed) Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills To Provide Comprehensive Care To Patients With End-Stage Renal Disease.
