- Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure safe and effective pain management.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans for each patient.
- Educate patients and their families about the risks and benefits of anesthesia, as well as post-operative pain management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' medical history, anesthesia administration, and post-operative recovery.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patients' response to anesthesia and make necessary adjustments to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to anesthesia administration.
- Stay current with advances in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment through ongoing education and training.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
Master's Degree In Nurse Anesthesia: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Master's Degree Program In Nurse Anesthesia From An Accredited Institution.
Active Crna License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna) License In The State Of Missouri.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience: Bjc Healthcare Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Crna In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Current Acls Certification, As This Is A Critical Requirement For Providing Safe And Effective Anesthesia Care.
