  1. Develop and implement community outreach programs and initiatives to promote oral health and provide access to quality dental care for underserved populations.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to identify and address oral health needs in the community.
  3. Conduct educational workshops and presentations on proper dental hygiene and preventative care.
  4. Provide dental services to patients in community settings, such as schools, community centers, and nursing homes.
  5. Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, including children and adults, with a variety of dental needs.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  7. Serve as a resource for community members seeking information and resources related to dental care and oral health.
  8. Participate in community events and health fairs to promote awareness of dental care and services offered by BJC HealthCare.
  9. Continuously assess and improve outreach programs and initiatives to better meet the needs of the community.
  10. Stay current on new developments and advancements in the field of dentistry and incorporate them into practice as appropriate.
  11. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct at all times.
  12. Collaborate with other dentists and dental professionals within BJC HealthCare to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  13. Engage in outreach efforts to recruit and retain qualified dental professionals who share the mission of BJC HealthCare.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing BJC HealthCare in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Dental Surgery (Dds) Or Doctor Of Dental Medicine (Dmd) Degree From An Accredited Dental School.

  • Active And Unrestricted Dental License In The State Of Missouri.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Practicing Dentistry, Preferably In A Community Outreach Or Public Health Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Commitment To Providing High-Quality Dental Care And Improving Access To Dental Services For Underserved Communities.
