  1. Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote BJC HealthCare's initiatives and objectives.
  2. Create and disseminate compelling and effective messaging to various stakeholders, including employees, patients, community partners, and media outlets.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals, community leaders, and media representatives.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and teams within the organization to ensure consistent and accurate messaging.
  5. Monitor and analyze communication efforts to measure their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in healthcare communications.
  7. Manage and maintain the organization's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring online conversations.
  8. Develop and maintain a crisis communication plan to ensure timely and effective communication in the event of an emergency or crisis.
  9. Write and edit a variety of communication materials, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and internal communications.
  10. Support the organization's events and initiatives through effective communication strategies.
  11. Serve as a spokesperson for the organization, representing BJC HealthCare in a professional and positive manner.
  12. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to execute communication plans and initiatives.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all communication efforts.
  14. Train and educate employees on communication best practices and messaging.
  15. Manage and maintain communication budgets and expenses.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Various Communication Tools And Platforms, Such As Social Media, Email Marketing, And Content Management Systems.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Communications Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.
