  1. Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively reach and engage stakeholders, including patients, employees, and the community.
  2. Serve as a liaison between BJC HealthCare and external partners, including media outlets and community organizations.
  3. Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, and website.
  4. Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Collaborate with various departments to gather information and ensure accuracy of communication materials.
  6. Manage crisis communication and act as a spokesperson for the organization in times of need.
  7. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in healthcare communication.
  8. Plan and execute internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the organization's reputation and promote positive relationships.
  10. Assist in organizing and coordinating events and campaigns to promote BJC HealthCare's services and mission.
  11. Provide support to other departments in developing communication materials as needed.
  12. Adhere to BJC HealthCare's brand and style guidelines in all communication efforts.
  13. Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members to create visually appealing and impactful communication materials.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate communication strategies and processes.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  16. Act as a positive representative of BJC HealthCare and its values in all interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or Related Field.

  • 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Communications Or Public Relations Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Tailor Messaging To Different Audiences.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Deadlines Simultaneously.

  • Experience With Various Communication Tools And Platforms, Such As Social Media, Email Marketing, And Content Management Systems.
